With a background of years of heavy lifting in the steel industry, and a keen competitive cyclist riding around 8 hours a week, Ian had some classic weak areas with tight hamstrings, and weak core compared to a strong back – leading to an imbalance of strength around the main trunk of the body.
To improve overall core strength, lengthen hamstrings and general tightness in all muscle groups.
‘Since starting the Mobility & Core Strength sessions, around 6 weeks ago, my flexibility has improved so much! I can now get full flat hands onto the floor in a hamstring stretch, whereas before I could barely get my finger tips to the floor.
With having a strong back, both from cycling and my lifting in the steel industry, I had an imbalance of strength which showed immediately after just a few core sessions! I can now ride for much longer without any aches and pains, and generally feel stronger on the bike.
Fitting in the sessions is easy, even though my work hours change regularly as I can access the recorded live zoom sessions so I can fit in the times to suit me. I would definitely recommend these sessions to anyone who enjoys cycling and wants to feel stronger, with less aches and pains. ‘
